Content Policy

What you can and can't create with Echo AI's photo tools — our rules on illegal, harmful, and non-consensual content, and how we enforce them.

最近更新: 2026-08-10

Echo AI is a set of creative photo tools. This policy explains what you can and can't make with them. It applies every time you upload an image, generate a result, or share something you created here — whether you're on a free plan or a paid one.

The basics

You're responsible for the images you bring to Echo AI and for whatever you do with the results. If you don't have the right to use a photo — or the right to change it the way you're asking us to — don't upload it. When you're unsure, leave it out.

What you may not create or upload

  • Anything illegal where you live or where the content ends up, or that helps someone else break the law.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any material that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a child. There are no exceptions, and we report it.
  • Intimate, nude, or sexual images of real people made or shared without their clear consent — including "undressing" edits and sexual deepfakes.
  • Face swaps or likeness edits that impersonate a real person to defraud, mislead, or damage their reputation.
  • Content that harasses or threatens someone, or that attacks people over race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or similar traits.
  • Fabricated images passed off as real to deceive the public, defame someone, or interfere with elections or public safety.
  • Someone's private information — home address, documents, contact details — used to expose, stalk, or endanger them.
  • Graphic violence or gore created to threaten, glorify harm, or shock.
  • Edits presented as authoritative medical, legal, or financial advice.

Real people and consent

Editing a recognizable person — a friend, a public figure, a stranger in a photo — needs their permission when the result could be mistaken for real or changes how others see them. Being well known doesn't remove that protection. Satire and commentary have room to breathe, but they don't cover deception or sexual content.

How we keep this enforceable

We use a mix of automated checks and human review. Filters look at what gets uploaded and what gets produced, and anything that trips them can be blocked before it finishes. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, limit features, or close an account — and for the most serious cases, especially those involving minors, we cooperate with the authorities.

Telling us about a problem

If you find something on Echo AI that breaks these rules — including an image of yourself you never agreed to — email trust@echoai.me with enough detail for us to find it. We review reports and act on the ones that hold up.

Changes

We'll update this policy as our tools change or the law does. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use Echo AI after a change means the new version applies to you.
